Jillian Scheinfeld is a comedy writer, journalist, and copywriter based in New York. She spent the past year and a half trying on Los Angeles for size where she became a bottomless pit for green juice. She was an editor at Whalerock Industries. Now she's home, reluctantly weathering the cold and enjoying east coast humans.

Jillian has a B.A. in American Studies and Journalism from the George Washington University (2012). She attended Tel Aviv University (2011) and studied Middle Eastern Conflict and Resolution. Some of her favorite minds include Marc Maron, Lena Dunham, Joan Rivers, Fiona Apple, Jessi Klein, Joan Didion, Dorothy Parker, Jessi Klein, Howard Stern, Simone de Beauvoir, Noah Baumbach, and Jenny Lewis. These people are entirely themselves, wrapped equally in charm, worts, and glory. Jillian is a fan of humor, emotional truth, pop culture, music, and film. She's also a firm believer in the personal essay and memoir is her favorite genre to read. Jillian was raised in the Catskills and is a lady of the mountains. She hopes to one day be reincarnated as a handy person or a pampered dog.
